Maddy and Prince Hisahito

I was born at Aiku Hospital here in Tokyo in the very room that the future emperor, Prince Hisahito, of Japan was born on September 9, 2006!  I even stayed in the same room that his mommy stayed in while she rested in the hospital for that week.

He is the first male member of the Japanese Imperial family to be born in 41 years and is healthy like me.  The only son of Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko is learning how to feed and dress himself. He likes to do much of the same games and sports as I do.   Hisahito is nicknamed Yuyu and Yuchan by his parents.  He is third in line to the Chrysanthemum Throne, after his father and uncle, Crown Prince Naruhito. This is because of Japan’s MALE-ONLY succession law. Naruhito has a daughter, Princess Aiko, who would’ve been the heir if the succession laws were made into what the rest of the world believes to be modernization of imperial and royal families.  I, personally, am all for a female being the successor and ruling the throne.  I doubt many would disagree with me.  I’m a contemporary thinking young lady!

  1. The young Prince is adarling looking young man, and when you were born, two months after his birth, in the same room, your doctor, whom delivered the young Prince told me( Your Nana) this is the room that the Japanese Prince was born in, and I told the doctor, yes I know, and now the little American Princess, Madeleine has been born here in this room today also. I liked your doctor, and he liked your outspoken Nana ha-ha. nana, believes as you do. One of the greatest women of the 21 century, was the Prime Minister of England. And they still have a wonderful woman on the throne in England, I also believe in modernization for the imperial throne. But your Nana, has not a doubt that one of my smart, beautiful granddaughters will one day be in control of this great country called America. So, as I said before, YOU GO Girl !! Love you and have enjoyed your Blog very much.xoxoxox Nana
